i have one. i don't use it much, but i bought it so people will stop think i'm trying to steal shit. i have mild autism and literally can't stop moving. i don't mean "literally" in a way to emphasize it; i actually never stop moving. i usually just move my hand a lot, but it makes people think i'm trying to shoplift sometimes. i got a spinner so my hand would be occupied enough for people to calm down. for that reason, i'm ok with them. however, just like anything else, i just hate when someone's a douche about having one.

edit: i forgot to mention the hypothetical asshole dabbing about 20 times during those 3 sentences. i fucking hate dabbing to the point that i actually told guests during winterfest that the reason i don't dab is because i have more than 2 brain cells and still have the will to live.
